A KNOCK AT THE DOOR

Mark and Carol own a four-bedroom house on Long Island.  They are  raising three children all under the age of ten.  Mark runs an investigative agency , and Carol is a stay-at-home mom..
One day, two solicitors from Jehovah's Witnesses make a house call. Carol invites them in.  Six months later, she secretly joins the organization.  When her conversion finally goes public, their marriage, home, family, and social life were almost destroyed.  Carol abandoned all her friends and began devoting her time and energy serving this new cause.
The children, caught between two faiths, were confused and put in harm's way
Their relatives and friends suffered.  The marriage almost crumbled.  In the end, Carol knocked on the wrong doors with her partner and lost her life.
The family struggled to stay afloat in this storm and ultimately finds a safe, happy harbor.
